When the snowy owls first came down in the winter-to my knowledge-I went everywhere looking for them! Traveled many hours away to come home without a single image on my camera. Then as I was driving to town, about 2 miles from my house, yup….there he was! Sitting on a fence post and I caught this picture as he flew up to do a little hunting.
