We have many sparrows that stop and visit as they migrate through and some stay and breed and others live here! Always welcome all. Some spring days the lawn is moving with hundreds of birds! It is amazing and wonderful! If you leave the leaves around in the fall, the birds can find bugs underneath in the spring and certainly helps them!
