The little Redpolls have an amazing appetite for thistle seed and only visits us when the weather way up north is harsh. There were times as we filled the feeders, the would sit on our hands. Their little peeping noises are so wonderful. They haven’t visited us for a few winters now, as climate changes I am sure what birds we are visited by will also change.
