Almost a Year!

I guess it is pretty obvious I am not good about writing posts since it has almost been a year since the last one! In spite of all the craziness that has happened in this last year, time has flown by.

I took the spring/summer off from painting, a needed break and worked around my house and in the yard. I smile when coming into my yard now instead of seeing that list of things that needs to be done! More will get accomplished next year, but I got a lot done! It was wonderful not to have a time schedule and to just be able to do what I wanted. Something I have never experience in my life. I officially retired, a benefit to being old…. :-) I am not sure how I am closing in on 65 years, but happy to have made it this far!

Painting has been fun again. I am looking forward to this winter, did I say that? to explore some new mediums for me and see how it all goes. I will be going back to some acrylic painting also.

Covid has reminded me to be very grateful for everything and everybody and enjoy everyday, because the future is not guaranteed. I wish I could keep those in harm’s way safe.

This year my art was featured at Watershed Cafe in Osceola, WI for several months and had a wonderful stay! I have no plans for next year at the moment and hoping I will be able to open up my gallery to the public again and start classes.
